I'm new to Navit and have a question. I have a kml (google earth) file with routing information (it has the coordinates of all of the street corners to turn on) and I would like to be able to load that onto my Raspberry Pi and create some script to parse the file and load the destinations into Navit. Is it currently possible to put the coordinates into a file that Navit can read? If not, how would I go about doing that? Like I said, I'm new to Navit, but I consider myself to be a decent programmer, I just have no idea where to start.

It should be possible to insert them into the bookmarks file. There's a function to load an entire bookmarks folder, so all you have to do is looking at the bookmark file, find out the format of the entries, and add some. It's plain text, one line per point or folder.
