One Question: Is it possible, to use gpx-measurement-files for the Demo-Car to test route-calculating? Gpx-File plus route-calculating to an aim?

Another option, at least on Linux, is to use gpsfake from gpsd.

gpsfake will read a GPS logfile and feed it to gpsd. In Navit you can then configure and use the regular "gpsd" vehicle, which will accept the data from gpsfake just as if it came from a real GPS receiver.

I have used it for testing the gpsd vehicle, and it worked well.

Because the collecting of nmea-Data didnt work, I was converting gpx-data.

gpsfake seems to be on my computer. I was searching for it in internet, but it seems to come with gpsd?
gpsfake seems to be better than gpsfeed, because using gpx-files.

testing a route, I get this answer on terminal several times:
"navit:route_path_new:no route found, pos blocked"
I set an aim for vehicle bike und then set a waypoint (navit should navigate to it). After this the massage occured. I changed to vehicle horse, and it worked again. The route was not complicated.

On Android, you could not see the message and cannot react.
(Navit 0.5.0,5711 with nmae-file, not gpsd))

I found the reason: The waypoint was on a bridleway, so bike couldnt route over it.

I tested Navit with measured Gps. On the pc with linux Navit finds always a route and has no problems with variances up to 100m. Then, the gps-signal jumps often between parallel streets.

On smartphones however it seems, that the intensive calculation of the route in cause of bad gps-signals could be to much sometimes. To reduce memory-consumption on smartphones with less memory, I think, its better to use a map with less details (the map for cars) and not so much buttons on the screen and so on.
