Hi all,

I would like to use the traffic distortion feature. If I mark a road as blocked, Navit still uses this road on its way to the destination.

Does somebody know how to use the traffic distortion feature ?

Thank you

JBM

I haven't used this feature yet, but I'll give it a try and see whether I can get it working.

Hi,

In fact for activating the feature "traffic distortion", you need to have the following fields set to "yes":

Code:
<osd enabled="yes" type="compass"/>
<osd enabled="yes" type="eta"/>
<osd enabled="yes" type="navigation_distance_to_target"/>
<osd enabled="yes" type="navigation"/>
<osd enabled="yes" type="navigation_distance_to_next"/>
<osd enabled="yes" type="navigation_next_turn"/>

When Navit runs, you can right-click on a road. Highlight the name of the street, and you will see the feature "traffic distortion".

Strange - I have those enabled. Which GUI are you using? GTK? Internal?

Indeed this feature is present only with the GTK GUI - I guess I need to try that, haven't used it in ages ;) But now we actually have a plan to integrate it also in the internal GUI...

But anyway, it needs to work, so I'll give it a try (as soon as I have some time).
