I am working on a project where I am showing map on a lcd screen.OS is debian.I am trying to increase the font size on the map but cant find any info on that.I ran a check on navit.xml to see if something like this is there but cant find anything that changes font size for streets.Also some writings are unreadable(rectangular boxes).How to fix that? would I have to install some font? I assume that the fonts for those unreadable things would be bengali so would downloading a bengali font help?

Hi Ashraf!

For adjusting the font size you have to change font size in navit.xml in the layout element.
You can define the text size of each "item_types" in the element "itemgra".

For example:
                <itemgra item_types="highway_city,highway_land,street_4_city,street_4_land,street_n_lanes" order="10-13">
                    <text text_size="9"/>

Please have a look at:
for more information.

Best regards,
