Multipolygons need now 4 Minutes for Baden-Württemberg, Germany, still in Java.
I did it similiar to the solution like in It was refused, so I prefer to preprosess it.

I think, resolve Multipolygons at runtime is much to slow also in language C. It would be better, to preprocess them and work with layers. In the same way like yet, but with a loop from layer 1 up to layer max. But I think, without layers, its good enough.

Perhaps not every Multipolygon, landuse farm und meadow not so important and cost a lot of time and memory. Water and forest are important for orientation. Riverbanks should be divided in shorter parts, so that there is no problem with planet file. The last thing is not so easy, I havent done it. Or Multipolygons only for the countries. I think, planet file is not often used on smartphones in cause of limited memory.

The resolving of boundaries are the same like resolving multipolygones for landuse. Perhaps you can use it for resolving all multipolygons. Perhaps with a flag, so you can decide, wich part of the world is processed with multipolygones.
