I've got an USB receiver working, but for bluetooth there are solutions, too. Check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833094

Connection between Android and external Bluetooth GPS receiver was not a problem.
Everything went fine.

My question was: how to configure navit to connect external Bluetooth GPS receiver (already connected to android).

What to put into this line:
Code:
<vehicle name="Local GPS" profilename="car" enabled="yes" active="1" source="android:" follow="1">

My tries like:
Code:
source="BT-GPS"
source="android:BT-GPS"
source="btspp:/dev/rfcomm0"

were not successful.
(“BT-GPS” is the device name used by other apps).

I didn't enter anything there, it just works with the standard "android:" entry. The GPS receiver and drivers should be running prior to launching Navit. Once the receiver was connected, I was instantly able to view my position with some GPS-Info app and in Navit. Just enabling the "fake location provider" in the android settings was enough.

Now I have tried again… and it works:
To make it easy for other:
Install “Bluetooth GPS“
„allow mock locations setting“ needs to be checked in.
Additionally in Android settings enable: Settings/Applications/Development/Allow mock locations (Pseudostandorte zulassen)
Then start navit or any (I suppose) app using gps.

Now the reason, why I want it:
My Samsung can Glonass and therefore is much more inaccurate, as long as I am not able to switch off Glonass or Glonass becomes better, I would like to use my old receiver.
