Hi, for creating a basmeap style and to explore our needs for more styles (and their effective management), I like to create a small tool:

A navit.xml that has:
  • OSD item that shows current zoomlevel
  • relative paths for Xinclude paths(so can be used as ./navit testnavit.xml)

Unfortunatly, I don't have an idea how to relize it. Anybody ideas?

for your second question:

<!-- MAPs aus Verzeichnis Laden -->
<xi:include href="/home/ck/Navit/MAP/*.xml"/>

from my working navit.xml... (including my german notes :-) )

Wouldnt applying http://trac.navit-project.org/ticket/862 patch solve your relative path part of the question?

But please note, this probably wont work on all platforms. IIRC, xi:include does not use environment variables on WinCE and on some other systems.
