Hi,

I added some custom POIs via an additional map and use them as poi_custom0, which works in general.
    -My Icon of the custom POI is located in the center as expected (that's fine)
    -The text label is also located in the center and is overlapping with the icon (text hard to read due to overlap with icon)
I tried to play aroud with the <coord x="..." y="..." /> but somehow did not succeed.

Thanks in advanced,
Chris

code in navit.xml derived from existing POI-Section:
Code:
<layer name="POI Symbols">
...
   <itemgra item_types="poi_custom0" order="10-">
      <icon src="/sdcard/navit/poi_custom0.svg"/>
   </itemgra>
</layer>
<layer name="POI Labels">
...
   <itemgra item_types="poi_custom0" order="13-">
      <circle color="#606060" radius="0" width="0" text_size="10"/>
   </itemgra>
</layer>

Tried to add an coord tag (did not succeed):
Code:
<layer name="POI Labels">
...
   <itemgra item_types="poi_custom0" order="13-">
      <circle color="#606060" width="0" text_size="10" <coord x="10" y="0"/> />
   </itemgra>
</layer>

On WinCE this works fine for me:
Code:
<itemgra item_types="bookmark">
      <icon src="bookmark_32.png"/>
      <circle color="#009640" radius="0" width="0" x="10" y="10" text_size="10"/>
   </itemgra>

Hi usul,

thank you for this hint. In the line
Code:
<circle color="#606060" width="0" text_size="10" <coord x="10" y="0"/> />
I changed <coord x="10" y="10" /> to x="10" y="10" as mentioned in your example, but I can't see any effect. Even when setting x to 100, nothing seems to move. It tested it on my android device as well on my linux box. I'm using navit-svn 0.5.0-5543.

The only difference that I see is that you declare icon and text in the same itemgra tag while in my config (derived from the preset of custom pois) it has two single entries in two layers. But for my feeling this should not make a difference.

Obviously you have an XML tag within the start tag of another XML tag. This cannot work.

Code:
<circle color="#606060" width="0" text_size="10" x="10" y="0"/>

Please check if the settings get applied if you use direct x,y attributes. If not, there might be no support on Android, which I personally would consider as a bug and recommend to open a corresponding trac ticket.
