Why is the database from the planet extractor still from 15.04.2013? Its almost a month ago without an update.
(It doesn't matter for myselb, because I'm creating my own maps. But for other people, the map should be a bit newer. I think, the up-to-date-maps from Navit are the best feature from Navit).

Where did you find this data? Actually the map data should be updated every day.

Have a look on the top of this page: http://maps.navit-project.org
There you see the date: map version 130415.

You're hitting the load balancer.

I've logged into the back end and checked - there is a server with an outdated map.

Can you use maps5.navit-project.org directly instead, please.

This is what I found:

http://maps7.navit-project.org 130415
http://maps6.navit-project.org 130612
http://maps5.navit-project.org 130612
http://maps4.navit-project.org n/a
http://maps3.navit-project.org 130612
http://maps2.navit-project.org n/a
http://maps1.navit-project.org n/a

When I try, I get maps7 per default :/

Maps7 should be taken out from the balancer now, if you can try again.

Is there currently a way to get the timestamp and the maptool version out of binfiles?
I don't see such a feature in navit itself or get some info on stout. Even if I open .bin with a unzipper, the index seems to be a binary format, too :/

If I hit the balancer, I get maps9. But yes maps7 is still outdated (guess preprocessing the planet takes a while).
